On October 15th, 2011, the first annual CEGA Awards were presented in the Ballroom of the prestigious Fairmont Royal York Hotel. This optional black-tie evening was hailed as the Greek event of the year.

The CEGA Awards Committee has selected five people that exemplify the five pillars of AHEPA: Hellenism , Education, Philanthropy, Civic Responsibility and Family and Individual Excellence.
Cause
AHEPA Toronto Scholarship Fund
All net proceeds from the CEGA Awards will go to support the AHEPA Toronto Scholarship Fund. Since 1928, AHEPA Toronto has taken the lead on scholarships and other charitable activities in Toronto.
